BEACH OF THE NEW WORLD was shot on the beach where Pedro Cabral accosted on Thursday April 23, 1500. These two works allude to those few hours in history when the ideals, beliefs and made-up imagery of "The New World" became a reality and made their lasting entry into the Western psyche.
